LV Tea Party To Host State House & Senate Candidates This Friday

The Lehigh Vlley Project 9/12 - Tea Party Group, which happens to be the largest Tea Party organization in Pennsylvania, will sponsor a "Meet the Candidates" evening this Friday at the Chrin Community Center in Palmer Township, beginning at 7:00 p.m. (Map here).

All LV candidates running for the Pennsylvania State Senate or House in Lehigh or Northampton County have been invited to set up tables, meet and greet voters, listen to their concerns and answer questions one-on-one.

The event is free to the public.

I've asked who's coming, and when I get a list, I'll share it with you..

Why does this group insist on meeting in Easton. There are tons of interested voters in Allentown and Bethlehem and beyond too! Can't you charm them into moving?

These clowns are still gathering to share how little they understand the government and the Constitution again? I should go. It would be quite comical, I'm sure.

They meet in the Chrin center because they need to meet in a government subsidized facility. If they had any integrity (or understanding of their central point), they'd hold their meetings in a private establishment free of government handling. But as we all know, most of these people receive government monies in one way or another and are total hypocrites who will not say where they would cut the federal budget. (Or they just don't understand the problems in the first place.)

Thanks for the plug, Bernie. We're hoping that a lot of citizens use this opportunity to get up close and personal with candidates for the state legislature in a way they can't even at a debate. At this event, you can walk up to the candidate and ask your question without the interference of a moderator or a format.

We meet at the Chrin Center because it's large enough and it's willing to host us FOR A FEE. It's also a really nice facility, which is easy to reach from just about anywhere in the Lehigh Valley - it only takes me about 20 minutes to get there from my home in Allentown. It's immaculate and there's plenty of parking.

Any anonymous trolls who don't know what the heck they're talking about should shut up until they've attended a couple of meetings, at which they would learn that the people who attend the Lehigh Valley Tea party meetings are among the best informed citizens in the area. They understand the Constitution and the government far better than those who can only toss around talking points or gratuitous insults, and that they're working hard to become even BETTER informed as they fulfill their roles as citizen watchdogs of government at all levels, keeping an eye on elected officials of ALL parties.

Of course, there's no cure for anonymous ignorance.

Actually, isn't one in three of us now receiving some form of government money?

In case you haven't noticed, charm is not one of my qualities.

I thought the Tea Party didn't matter. Why all the squealing whiners?

Probably because Donna's Beaver Rover shows the true hypocrisy of the treabaggers. They whine about government but all cash their unemployment, disability and Social Security checks.
